Earthworks CoOp

One of the earliest and most enduring projects at Earthworks is our food co-op. Working with United Natural Foods, Earthworks makes it possible for members to order organic foods as well other healthy products.

United Food's catalog features over 10,000 products, many of which are packed in small quantities. So there is little need for members to sort and re-package. Frozen foods, some fresh vegetables and a variety of cheeses are also available.

Members place orders once a month and can collect their orders at Earthworks on the delivery date. Much of the communication for the Co-Op is done through email, thus further simplifying the ordering process.

Membership is $10.00 per year. The membership fee covers monthly catalogs which are mailed to members. In addition to the membership fee, Earthworks places a 4.5% surcharge on each order (there is a $50 cap on surcharges). The funds from the surcharge cover the overhead expense of operating the Co-Op.
